MELØ Reveals His Visionary Talent Onscreen Through His Most Personal Project To-Date This Oct. 25th . The luckiest among us form bonds that can never be broken; not in life, and not in death. While solo artist MELØ was working on the music for his upcoming album Songs From The Spirit Box, his father sadly passed away on October 25th. Sending MELØ into a wild frenzy of uncontrollable emotions, thoughts, and feelings that reflected upon the incredible life that his father had led, a series of sleepless nights would end up inspiring him to make a short film in tribute to the great man that he was & reveal the resonant impact his story continues to have on the entire family to this very day. Through a collage of special memories and new music, Farewell For Now became one of the most important projects that MELØ had ever dedicated himself to making, and it’s officially being released one year after his father’s passing in order to honor a man whose extraordinary contributions to this life will echo on for eternity. The powerful imagery shown onscreen throughout the course of Farewell For Now includes rare family photos, in addition to highly moving scenes that depict the way MELØ’s father’s vibrant personality was able to fill a room with life, while also revealing the devastating void left behind in his passing. A short film that is built on emotional contrast that boldly looks at how true love can be the best thing we ever experience, and the hardest thing to deal with when those we loved are gone – Farewell For Now proves that no matter what the obstacles have ever been, the love continues on. Viewers will be invited to see remarkably intimate details from the sweet blossoming of a love story in the 60s, to how MELØ’s father eventually lost his vision in 2001, but never lost sight of what was most important to him – his family. Through a touching montage of black and white imagery that takes everyone though the stinging pain of loss, straight through to the strengths found in love everlasting, and the unbreakable bonds of family – Farewell For Now is a stunning reminder that the memories of those we’ve lost continue to live on in the hearts & minds of the living. As Farewell For Now shifts seamlessly back into color, it sends a message to everyone watching that our past experiences can be every bit as vivid as life in the present, and that all we’ve learned from those we loved along the way continues to guide us each and every day of our lives. With a meaningful soundtrack comprised of brand-new MELØ songs “Sleep Alone” & “Memento,” this short tributary film insightfully highlights how the true power of love makes our lives worth living. Through an open and honest look at the vulnerability we experience in the gripping emotions of loss, Farewell For Now provides hope for the future by proving that no one we love ever really dies, and that the beautiful ripple effect one person can make in a lifetime can go on to affect generations to follow.
