The Grab Society sur LRdR Reincarnation (Glare Mix by Talking to Ghosts)

Just over two months after the release of the single “Reincarnation”, it is followed up in the form of a jam- packed remix package. Eleven different artists have offered their takes on the theme, with four of them even contributing two different versions each. Added to this is a sort of in-house remix, as Manfred Thomaser (one half of The Grab Society) has fleshed out another vision under his Arsine Tibé project. As one might expect on such an occasion, the track’s danceable qualities are generally highlighted or enhanced by the addition of the artists’ own ideas. Cyborgdrive, for instance, introduces subtle rhythm guitars, while both Oren Amram and L_iGH_T took the opportunity to record their own vocal parts. In some instances, the vocals by Ulf Müller and Manfred Thomaser are embellished with new effects, allowing the song to shine in a different (disco) light each time. Hard-hitting beats and groovy rhythms take turns in the spotlight; and anyone who listens to the entire 72-minute collection in one go will likely find the already catchy song stuck in their head for days on end. After sixteen “reincarnations”, entry into ‘earworm nirvana’ is all but guaranteed.
