THE BACK ROOM THE NEW SINGLE BY RYAN REDWOOD Rising singer songwriter Ryan Redwood returns with his captivating new single ‘The Back Room’, out 5th of September 2025 via his own label Indie Kid Records. Clocking in at just over four minutes, the track weaves Redwood’s signature blend of heartfelt lyricism and rich, guitar driven soundscapes with atmospheric organ swells and driving percussion. Lyrically intimate yet universally resonant, ‘The Back Room’ explores themes of anxiety, the never ending feeling that life is eventually going to catch up with him and the thought that he’s suffocating due to mental health. “Feels like I’m going under and I’m drowning out the sound, the sound of losing this fight to my brain over and over again” With its cinematic build and soaring chorus, the single showcases Redwood at his most evocative, cementing his reputation as one of indie rock’s most compelling emerging voices. ‘The Back Room’ is the second single of which Ryan has worked with life long friend Aaron Lambert. The pair are showing no signs of stopping with this effort as it further shows how fruitful this relationship has been since they’ve come together. ‘The Back Room’ will be available on all major streaming platforms from the 5th of September 2025.
