Sentient Robot is a five-piece band from Manchester, UK. Formed by singer Nat O’Brien and guitarist/producer Steve Marsden, the lineup is completed by drummer Pete Marshall, bassist Sam Morris and keys player Andrew Stewardson. Blending indie synth-pop with alt-indie rock, Sentient Robot pairs updated, 80s- inspired synth textures with tight rhythmic grooves and big, immediate hooks. Expect bright glockenspiel lines, the occasional sweet shot of saxophone, and O’Brien’s vocals shifting from haunting to soaring to playfully sharp—always anchored by vivid, lyrical storytelling.
