About Second Complex Second Complex is a solo project by Dan Beck known from the Danish electronic act, Vaylon. His Second Complex solo project started up in 2021 during Covid. The music is inspired by the 80’s synthpop and dark wave genre. Dan works with different vocalists from the electronic music scene for his Second Complex songs. Great names like Brian Hazard from Color Theory, Brian Belknap from BlakLight and Mind Machine, Daniel Hall, and Neil Francis - and of course Ole Ulrich Jensen from Vaylon. And let’s just say, we have some more amazing surprises coming up for you - and a full album. By the way, when you mention Vaylon, no further introduction is needed for most synth loving people… Vaylon is one of Scandinavia’s most remarkable and well known synthpop and dark wave bands during the last 10 years! In Vaylon, Dan Beck’s partner in crime is Ole Ulrich Jensen. The band is strongly inspired by the 80’s electronic music scene, and have been part of the Scandinavian synth scene through the last decade, and they have a huge discography behind them. About Stephen Newton Stephen Newton is the singer/lyricist along with Mark Littlemore (Keys/Production) in the band GLYDA, an electronic duo from Gateshead, North East England. Stephen Newton is also known for his collaboration with e.g. Australian electronic music artist, Daniel Hall. They also made a cover version of Depeche Mode’s track 'I Feel Loved’, which was featured on the Andrew Fletcher Memorial release titled: 6122.
