Lea G sur Lrdr découverte Again and Again

After an extraordinary year in 2023 with the release of her EP SEPARATION ANXIETY, a UK and European tour, and a sold-out headline show at London’s Courtyard Theatre, alt-pop artist Lea G is stepping into a bold new chapter with her new project, THE FLOOD. Described as what might happen if Florence + the Machine and Orla Gartland collided in a feverish daydream, the six-track EP delves into themes of introspection, transformation, and vulnerability. Produced and recorded alongside Grammy-nominated engineerIsabel Gracefield, THE FLOOD showcases Lea’s ability to craft emotionally charged, anthemic soundscapes while maintaining her signature blend of acoustic intimacy and soaring alternative-pop energy. From haunting melodies to raw, confessional lyrics, the project invites listeners into a sonic world that is both nostalgic and exhilarating. BETTER OF ME is the first chapter of THE FLOOD, Blending introspective lyrics with a soaring alt-pop sound, capturing the push-and-pull of wanting control but feeling completely lost. Winning the Centre Stage Competition in collaboration with Universal Music enabled Lea to record a demo of the track at the iconic Abbey Road Studios. Later, Grammy-nominated engineer and producerIsabel Gracefield came on board to finish the track with Lea, shaping it into an anthemic and cathartic track that is bound to be your new favourite track. To bring this vision to life, Lea has assembled a dynamic six-piece band, adding a fresh layer of depth and energy to her live performances. With an EP release date set for September 2025, and a ShortlistNomination for Truck, Victorias as well as Not Festival, she is gearing up for a year of exciting, immersive live shows, bringing the evocative world of THE FLOOD to audiences across the UK and beyond.
