About enter.me: enter.me is synthpop with soul – music with intention, depth, and meaning. In the mid-1980s, Claus, the creative force behind enter.me, was been drawn to electronic soundscapes. After buying his first synthesizer, he co-founded what became Bornholm's first synthpop band. From the start, the vision was clear: to create catchy yet meaningful music. His musical journey was briefly paused due to military service in the Danish Royal Life Guards, but a Depeche Mode concert in Valby in 1988 – with Nitzer Ebb as support – reignited his passion. Later, a fellow serviceman introduced Claus to the darker, more German-inspired branches of synthpop, fueling a deep dive into EBM, industrial, ambient, and trance. Though Claus explored heavier and dancier EBM rhythms, his love for soft, floating melodies remained strong. During this period, he also released a self-produced ambient/new age album. In 2005, Claus met Jan Brink, and together they formed deZeption – a fresh synthpop project, that placed Danish electropop music on the map. What began as a hobby quickly evolved, and in 2008 they released the self-produced debut album “Human Eyes”, featuring the standout tracks “Puppet” and “No Sense.” The band performed across Denmark, Norway, and Germany. When the members went separate ways in 2011, Claus streamlined his studio setup to work entirely in-the-box – composing, mixing, and producing using software sequencers and VST plugins. Claus's strength lies in strong arrangements and memorable melodies. The punchy drums and driving basslines of enter.me often flirt with the energy of genres like EBM and electro-industrial – drawing inspiration from artists like Front 242, And One, and Nitzer Ebb. In contrast, his melodic sense and vocal style echo the pioneers of synthpop: New Order, Depeche Mode, Human League, Ultravox and Tears for Fears. At the heart of enter.me is the vision of electronic music brought to life through an emotional, present, and human vocalist. It’s about reflection, life experience, and connection – themes deeply rooted in Claus’s journey. His 14 years in the Danish Armed Forces, including deployment in Bosnia, his former work in rehabilitation, his current work as a health care teacher and his lifelong interest in spirituality and personal growth, have given him a unique perspective on human relationships and resilience – all of which find their way into his lyrics. enter.me is about the symbiosis between man and machine, light and darkness, reflection and emotion. The lyrics explore human feelings, political dualities, and the many grey zones we navigate in life.
