Shy Reptiles en découvert sur LRdR So Real
Dave Allinson is a British songwriter, artist and musician whose work spans independent rock, ambient music and visual arts. As the singer and songwriter with Shy Reptiles, he released the band’s debut album through Fontana in 1989, earning a place on the late-1980s UK indie scene. Following that release, Allinson spent the next three decades building a career as a visual artist, creating large-scale audio-visual installations and exhibitions, while continuing to make occasional ambient music. Among these projects was AV1 (1998), a collaboration with renowned producer and engineer Phill Brown, developed alongside a series of immersive installation works. Returning to songwriting in recent years, Allinson has written and recorded two albums in the last three years under the revived Shy Reptiles name. His latest album, In the Ashes of a Dream, is due for release on 7 August through Kycker Music.
