The track is available now on all digital and streaming platforms. “I wrote Melt Away in the style of a love song,”says vocalist Cassie Bishop. “It’s about when you’ve hardened your heart, but life jumps in and brings someone unexpected into your world—someone who makes you release all your preconceived notions.” Instrumentalist Evan Nave adds, “MeltAway has such a cool groove to it. I tried to give this one some funk with the keyboard lines and a bit of a shuffle beat. Had some vocoder fun withCassie as well.
