Out of the shadows of the Wonderwall emerges Wall of Sound” Edinburgh-based Irish singer-songwriter Ray Kenny returns with a towering new indie anthem! His new single, “Wall of Sound,” was recorded at the legendary Rockfield Studios— heavily inspired by Oasis classics and filmed right at the iconic physical stone wall where Noel Gallagher recorded “Wonderwall.” The track features Britpop legend Nigel Clark ( Dodgy) on guest vocals, with special guitar guidance from Aziz Ibrahim ( The Stone Roses) Clark brings decades of experience in British guitar music to the song, while Ibrahim contributes his unmistakable guitar style, adding depth, texture and an extra layer of rock credibility to Kenny’s ambitious production. Together, their contributions help give “Wall of Sound” its expansive, live-ready character while retaining the melodic accessibility at the heart of Kenny’s songwriting. Ray discovered a guitar in his attic when he was just 16 and is now a seasoned songwriter known for stadium-sized hooks, he has also collaborated with industry veterans Nick Brine (Oasis) and Mark S. Berry (Prince)
