Electro Pop duo LOLA DUTRONIC redefine the concept of modern international recording artists. Toronto-based Richard Citroen provides the music, while Dusseldorf-based Stephanie B-Yen provides the vocals. Working in up to 4 languages, the band effortlessly glide between genres including EDM, Synth Pop, French Pop,Euro-Disco & Lounge….very often at the same time. Their songs have been featured in numerous films & TV shows including "The L-Word", and have appeared on dozens of compilation albums around the world. They have had Top 10 radio hits in Japan (InterFM), Greece (Best Radio) & Peru (Radio Doble Neuve), and garnered significant airplay on the Rodney Bingenheimer Show on KROQ in Los Angeles & SIRIUX FM. Their album "The Love Parade" received a 1st ballot Grammy Award Nomination in the Dance/Electronica category. Their video for their single "Whisper" was banned by YouTube for nudity! The resulting controversy even got them into the pages of USA Today. They have worked with Mike Garson (David Bowie), Chris Frantz & Tina Weymouth (Talking Heads/Tom Tom Club), Hugo Burnham (Gang Of 4), Man2Man, Mona Mur & En Esch (KMFDM), Jeremy Gluck & David Buckley (Barracudas), Eric Debris (Metal Urbain) and more. Stephanie B-Yen is the former lead singer of German electro pop band DKDent. She has worked with Alle Farben, Robin Schulz, The Ting Tings, La Roux, Imagine Dragons & Ozzy Osbourne(!)
