Cold Connection is a Swedish synthpop act belonging in the top of the world renowned Swedish synthpop league, defined by bands like Covenant, Elegant Machinery, Machinista, Page and S.P.O.C.K. The band has also deep roots into Sweden's esteemed synth based pop legacy, where bands like Ace of Base, Robyn, Army of Lovers and many more was ruling the charts all over the world in the 90’s. Cold Connection is influenced by acts such as Depeche Mode, Camouflage, Erasure, Kraftwerk, Rational Youth and Elegant Machinery. Cold Connection was named ’Best new Synthpop band of 2021’ by e.g. the site Synthpop Fanatic. Town And Towers Records released Cold Connection’s debut album "Seconds of Solitude” on October 15th 2021. The album is a true masterpiece within the classic old school synth scene, with a blend of atmospheric, bouncy and melancholic synthpop. Each song has its own story to tell. The album was followed in 2022 by a powerful remix album, with great remixers from acclaimed artists such as People Theatre, Patrick Kambo, ill Humans (Arvid Arays), and a lot of top Nordic synth acts, like Disrupted Being, and Dan and Ole from Vaylon. In 2022 Swedish synth act Cold Connection was selected to participate on the Andrew Fletcher Memorial Double CD-set called ’6122’. During 2023 and 2024 a few more new single has been released. And now in 2025, other new songs are in the making. Since 2021 Cold Connection have played many concerts in both Denmark and Sweden, often with fellow electronic acts like Boytronic, Covenant, Trans-X, Knight$, Eckotrigger, Disrupted Being, ee:man and Norwegian newcomers Piston Damp.
